Celiac Awareness Month Spotlight: Dining Without Limits ✨🍽️

This Celiac Awareness Month, we sat down with Executive Chef Trent Bochek to talk about how Thomsons creates an elevated dining experience for guests living gluten free.

“At Thomsons, we approach gluten-free dishes the same way we approach every dish on the menu…by focusing on flavor, balance, texture, and quality ingredients first,” says Chef Trent. “We want guests with dietary restrictions to enjoy the same experience as every other guest.”

With over 50% of the all-day menu already gluten free (and many additional dishes that can be modified) our team takes extra care behind the scenes to help guests with celiac disease dine with confidence. From a designated gluten-free fryer and pasta pot, to carefully reviewing ingredients and training staff on hidden sources of gluten like soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and salad dressings, every detail matters.

Meet Dennis Truong: Supervisor at Thomsons ✨

Dennis brings heart, warmth, and a genuine passion for people into every guest interaction. For him, hospitality has always been about creating meaningful, memorable experiences…and that’s exactly what you feel the moment you walk into Thomsons.

When asked to describe the Thomsons experience, Dennis shared: “It’s warm, welcoming, and genuinely personal…it feels less like a hotel and more like a place where people truly care.”
