🍧Snowcapz RETURNS — for 2 days only

Some flavours stay in your heart long after the last bite. Some faces stay in your memory long after the last goodbye. I’ve missed both.

Every message, every story you shared, every “I wish you were still here” made me realise this was never a goodbye, just a pause.

This weekend, I’m returning to see the faces I’ve been longing to see, to serve the flavours you’ve been craving, and to share a piece of summer together again.

It’s only two days, and it will pass quickly but my hope is that this moment becomes a memory we carry forward.

A reminder that sometimes, we find our way back to the things — and people — we love.

Hello everyone,

I’m writing this post to say my final farewell. After announcing our closure, I’ve come to truly realize how much love and support Snowcapz has received over the years.

Thank you so much for loving Snowcapz’s shaved ice creations. Because of the announcement, I had the privilege of seeing many of our loyal customers’ faces one last time before closing, and it was an absolute honor. I will forever cherish the happiness we shared over each cup of shaved ice.

The weather has gotten much colder, so please take care of yourselves and stay healthy. Thank you once again for everything.

Dear Snowcapz lovers,

It is with a sense of both gratitude and sadness that I announce our farewell.

I’m Soyoung, the owner of Snowcapz, and today I’d like to share my story with you. I arrived in Canada from Korea at the age of 22 on a one-year working holiday visa, and I quickly grew attached to the charm of Calgary. Now, at 29, I have had the honor of growing into the owner of Snowcapz, our beloved Korean shaved ice dessert cafe.

With your continued support and kindness, I was able to establish Snowcapz as a cherished brand in Calgary. Over the past 3 years and 7 months, I have experienced much personally and professionally. While I may not share all of it, please know that this decision was not made lightly. Snowcapz holds a very special place in my heart, which made this choice incredibly challenging. However, I feel it is now time to take a pause and allow myself a moment to recharge.

I will always hold the love and support you have given us close to my heart, and I look forward to the day we cross paths again.
