it’s april, which means spring on PAPER and winter in calgary for the 53rd time 😭😫. thankfully, we have pasta for brunch now, so suddenly life feels a little less rude 😌✨

made with mezze rigatoni, lamb merguez sausage, middle eastern spiced tomato sauce, house made crème fraîche, grana padano, fresh herbs, garlic panko, and a soft poached egg. it’s giving shakshuka, but with pasta 🍝

Valentines days in the early 90s were sometimes lonely affairs, but me and my kitchen friends would find solace in delicious food. Mediterranean flavours ruled the 90s and we were all mad for artichokes soaked with lemon, garlic and oregano. This dish is inspired by sad Valentines days and the place we miss the most - the 90s.
