We’ll be closed for the long weekend while our little Eatery crew takes a well-deserved break. 🌲☕️

With school just around the corner, we hope everyone gets to slow down, spend some cozy time with loved ones, and enjoy the final weekend of summer before getting back into the school-year routine. 🍂📚

We’ll be back on Wednesday, September 9th, rested and ready to fill your cups and bellies again!

Have a safe, cozy, and wonderful long weekend! ❤️

📢 A Little Weekend Update!

As many of you already know, Humberto is still new to our beautiful part of the world! 🇨🇦🏔️

This Friday and Saturday, we’ll be taking a short break and The Eatery will be closed so Humberto can finally experience and enjoy the Smithers Fall Fair! 🎡🎠✨

With our small team being a little short-staffed this weekend, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to take a couple of days off and let him enjoy one of the great local traditions around here.

We’ll be back soon, refreshed and ready to serve you your favourite coffee, food, and Mexican flavours! ☕🌮❤️

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support — we truly appreciate this amazing community! 🫶

See you again soon!

Just when we thought our POS system had enough fun with us on Saturday… 😂 today we’ve been blessed with a water interruption too! 💧

Unfortunately, a café without running water isn’t much of a café, so we’ll have to stay closed today.

Nothing dramatic, just one of those weeks 😂❤️

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and really appreciate your patience with us. We’ll keep you posted and can’t wait to see you again!

☕️ Looks Like Our Till System Wanted the Weekend Off… 😅

Our till system decided to take an unexpected break today, which unfortunately means we won’t be able to open the Eatery.

We’re working on getting everything sorted out and ready to go for Monday! 💛

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you so much for understanding.

Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you Monday! ☕️🌮

We wanted to give back to a group that’s helping make Burns Lake an even better place to live, so this week we donated free lemonade to the amazing Burns Lake Touch Rugby team! 🏉🍋

We chose them because we’ve seen their dedication. Even during our little heatwave, they kept showing up to practice with great attitudes and an awesome turnout. It’s inspiring to see recreational sports growing in our community and volunteers stepping up to make it happen.

A huge thank you to everyone involved with Burns Lake Touch Rugby for making Burns Lake a more fun, active, and connected community.

If you’ve ever thought about giving rugby a try, or you’re just looking for a fun way to get active, be sure to follow Burns Lake Touch Rugby They usually practice every Monday and Wednesday, all ages are welcome and you can find the latest times and details on their page.

Please share this post so more people hear about the great things they’re doing. ❤️

We’re here, the lemonade is ice cold, fresh, and waiting for you! 😎🍋

Whether you’re Team Cucumber 🥒 or Team Pineapple 🍍, we’d absolutely love for you to stop by and give it a try. Every cup you enjoy helps support our little café, and seeing people come back for more is what makes all the hard work worth it. ❤️

See you today at Eatery Burns Lake! ☀️
