We’d like to introduce Chef Luis who joined our team! Luis has had a long journey all the way to Burns Lake from Colombia. We are so excited to have him apart of our team and can’t wait for all the delicious meals, creativity, and new ideas he will be bringing to our Key-oh Kitchen.

🇨🇦 Welcome to Canada, Luis Fernando

Luis Fernando has arrived in Burns Lake, BC from Colombia to begin his new role as Chef de Partie with one of our hotel clients and BC Hotel Association members.

He is joining the team on a two year LMIA exempt work permit through the Canada Colombia Free Trade Agreement.

For Colombian chefs, this is a very real pathway into the Canadian hospitality industry. We are continuing to recruit experienced culinary professionals for hotels and restaurants across British Columbia and Alberta.

For hotel and restaurant operators, the CCoFTA gives you another way to build your kitchen team without relying on the Temporary Foreign Worker Program or going through the LMIA process.
