Job Description
We are a busy Brazilian Bistro located in Burnaby Heights. We are currently looking for a General Manager to drive our team:
Full-time position
The role:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for managing the operation and all aspects of the store to maximize results and achievements while ensuring everyone on the team is engaged and is fulfilling their duties to the required standard.
This individual will recruit and lead the team, delegate tasks, coach performance, and build motivation to create a positive work environment. They will foster a strong sense of open communication and teamwork and are responsible for delivering the brand and experience to every individual who steps through the door to the highest standard. This individual is an essential connection between the owners and employees. To achieve the goals, they will meet regularly to discuss goals and performance, seek innovation opportunities, and build more outstanding communication within the company.
Please apply if you have:
• A minimum of 1 year of recent restaurant experience in a management capacity
• Experience in providing training and development opportunities
• A passion for inspiring, coaching, and leading a team with a high level of integrity and professionalism
• A high level of business acumen with the ability to analyze reports hit targets, and identify business trends
• Experience with inventory and stock management
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts
• High attention to detail
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• The ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility to work different job functions, and shifts
• Must demonstrate understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures and can coach and teach their team
• Possess Food Safe
• Possess Driver's license (an asset)
