So excited for spring!
I'm currently planning a workshop for some Grade 6 students and we'll be talking about the 3 Sisters!
It is so empowering to be able to grow your own food, and knowing where your food comes from is just as important if not more! The rising costs at the grocery store will only get worse, and have you seen the quality of produce lately 🤢?
Nana and Papa have had us kids in the garden before we could walk and talk, their garden was absolutely full every year, even last year when Nana went on her journey west, 84 year old Papa was STILL in the garden. Aunty Christine has two of the biggest gardens I've seen and she has a pantry fully stocked every fall!
Long term goals for our garden include 12 raised beds, an orchard filled with many varieties of fruit, and an Artic Dome Greenhouse! If anyone wants to come help build, you are more than welcome!
