It’s spooky season here at The Tin Roof, and we’ve got some extra delicious Halloween-themed specials to celebrate! 🧟Strawberry Matcha Zombie Milkshake🍓

We’ve got a new milkshake flavour this season, matcha fans! This matcha milkshake topped with strawberry sauce, blood, and strawberry Cool Whip brains is sure to satisfy any of your possibly zombie-bite-driven cravings! 🪱Worms and Dirt Sundae🍨

We’re bringing back what might be the most iconic spooky-sundae here at The Tin Roof. It’s time to get outside and play with the Worms and Dirt! Your choice of soft-serve ice cream topped with deliciously crunchy Oreo cookie crumble and wriggly gummy worms! If you haven’t tried this spooky season favourite, you have to put it on your fall bucket list!

We’re serving up a new student lunch deal and some extra-tasty soup for you this week. Make sure you check out the whole post to see what we’ve got!

Attention Students! We’ve got a super-sweet lunch deal for you.
Tuesday through Friday, Students can get any half sandwich with a side of chips, a kids’ size soft-serve ice cream, and a soda pop for $15! Taxes included.

You can either text the shop or leave a voicemail to order! The cutoff time is 10:30 am for 11:00 am pickup. Available Tuesday-Friday for Students only. (613) 967-7663.

Please be aware that even though we do not require a student ID for this meal deal, this deal will be for students only 🍦🧑‍🎓

We will always agree that soup can be a whole meal. If you’re looking for a new tasty soup to try out, come and try our Lasagna in a Bowl!
This soup is made with gluten-free noodles and fresh grated parmesan. If you’re vegan (or if you want a little extra protein!), we can sub the parmesan with nutritional yeast. It’s filled with savoury onions, Canadian spinach and fire-roasted tomatoes.

At The Tin Roof, we are also of the belief that ice cream is a meal. It definitely is if you’re getting one of our Banana Splits! Our full-size Banana split is perfect for two (or one, we don’t judge!) and is made with two bananas, soft serve ice cream and your choice of Hot Fudge, Caramel, or Strawberry Sauce! You can do just one sauce or have all three.

Looking for something a little smaller? Try out our lickity-split! One banana surrounding a dollop of soft-serve ice cream and your choice of sauce. You can also upgrade to Kawartha Dairy hard-scoop ice cream for a dollar extra if there’s a flavour you think would go well with an extra-sweet banana split.

Today's the day, and we're SO excited! It's time for Applefest! 🍎
We want to let everyone know we will have a limited menu today. Only our Applefest menu will be available today, and we will not be serving up our usual sandwich menu. If you're looking for any coffee, tea, or non-apple-flavoured soups or sandwiches, we encourage you to check out some of the wonderful vendors that are in town for the street fair! Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to you trying the super-tasty specials we have available today!
Please note specials are available as supplies last, and we will not be open tomorrow, so make sure to catch the special that's catching your eye while you're out and about today!

It might be almost time to go back to school, but we’re holding onto summer here at The Tin Roof! New for the remainder of our season: Real-Fruit Lemonade! Try our extra-delicious homemade lemonade in one of four fruity flavours! Real-Fruit Lemonade is available with strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and peach syrups. Our lemonade and fruit syrups are always made in the shop out of real fruit! Even better, our Real-Fruit Lemonades are available at no extra cost! Which flavour do you want to try? 🍋🫐🍑🍓

PS: Our limited-time fruit sauces are also available on our ice creams. We think they’re extra delicious on a cheesecake parfait, and we’re excited to see what tasty combinations you come up with! 🍨

TOMORROW at the Home Rainbow Youth Centre!

It’s back-to-school season, and we’ve got a wonderful 100% FREE event going on to celebrate! It’s time for a clothing giveaway at the Home Rainbow Youth Centre!
All clothing is free to take, with the understanding that you’re sharing with others. Clothing will be available free of charge in a range of sizes for youth ages 12-21.
There’s no need to bring any clothing to exchange! This event exists to ensure every kid gets outfitted for school in whatever feels best for them, at absolutely no cost! Some school supplies will also be available.
