🍎 Our first School Fuel deliveries of the year are in the books!

Last week, we delivered our very first orders to a few local schools, and new orders are already coming in this week! We’re so happy to bring fresh, healthy food to local students, helping fuel their learning, one snack at a time. 💚

A special thank you to the Mullins family for making this possible. Your generosity is helping make a difference for students in our community!

A huge thank you to our School Fuel volunteers for helping prepare and deliver each order. Your time and care make every delivery possible!

Thank you to our participating schools for being part of this exciting beginning. ✨

Orange is the colour of remembrance, learning, and action 🧡

Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation & Orange Shirt Day, the Helping Hand Food Bank honours the survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities.

Every child matters. Building a stronger, more supportive community starts with understanding the past, listening to Indigenous voices, and committing to meaningful reconciliation.

Let’s stand together today, and every day.

We’re off to a strong start: one head cut off, nobody looking at the camera, and lunch as the main character. 😂🥣

we will catch up on sharing your generous donations when she is back. Thank you for supporting Helping Hand Food Bank! 💚

🎒🍎 School Fuel is almost here!

At the beginning of the school year, our team visited local schools to share information about this important program, which helps ensure students have access to nutritious snacks during the school day.

This week, we were thrilled to welcome CTV News to the Helping Hand Food Bank to help spread the word about School Fuel and the impact it will have in our community.

We’re excited to get started and support local students throughout the school year! 💙
