Chocolata is a boutique dessert company specializing in creating and styling sweet tables for that special event, customizing our desserts to suit your theme or colour. All our sweet tables are designed from scratch, creating something unique every time. My goal is to create something that will bring joy and love to my client, staying true to their personalities and wants, while not breaking the b

ank. Some of our desserts that we highly recommend to be set on your table and that come freshly made: macarons, cake pops, cupcakes, meringues, gourmet marshmallows, trifles, tarts, chocolate pretzels, sugar cookies and so much more! Our private kitchen is fully certified with MAPAQ and Hygiène et Salubrité, insured and is located just north of Montreal, in Ste-Thérèse.

A BIG thank you to MTL & Destination - Wedding & Event Planners | Floral Designer for trusting me with this project for her couple.
A 30 inch key lime pie!

This request came 2 weeks before their big day. Let me tell you the thought process that goes into making something this big is chaotic.
*
Nothing in the market is made to make or bake something this big, so everything was made from scratch. From the cake board to the mold to trying and making the right recipe.. it was crazy! I even asked other bakers for some advice and everyone of them told me to run far away from this.
*
But in the end, I'm proud to say I did it!
*
I'll definitely post the process to give you a behind the scenes look at how to make something like this 😊

During COVID, I came up with this dessert platter cause we weren't allowed to celebrate properly.. blowing out candles, cutting and sharing cake.. so I came up with a dessert platter to share.

Everyone gets a piece of dessert and the birthday celebrant gets to have cake!

It's the most popular option I have and my customers love how they can create their own designs and theme. They even up the size of the cake now 🎂
