Beach Yoga Cancelled ☔

Unfortunately, due to the forecast for rain early tomorrow morning, we have made the decision to cancel Beach Yoga.

While a little rain can be refreshing, it's not quite the beach yoga experience we had hoped for!

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you'll join us for future wellness events and activities!

Did You Know? 🦞

The very first Great Lobsterman Challenge was held in 2011 during the Cape Sable Island Causeway Boat Races.

Back then, it looked a bit different than it does today!

Originally a two-person team relay, competitors had to race through a series of traditional lobstering tasks that tested both strength and endurance, including:

🦞 Putting on fishing gear
🦞 Coiling rope
🦞 Carrying gear
🦞 Banding lobsters
🦞 Stacking lobster traps

What started as a fun challenge celebrating the skills of local fishers has grown into one of Lobster Festival's most anticipated events. Be sure to catch this year's Challenge, Thursday night at 6:30 at the Sandy Wickens Memorial Arena!

❓ Trivia Time!
