🚨 BREAK-IN AT FATBURGER BARRIE — PLEASE SHARE 🚨
We are asking our Barrie community for help following a break-in at Fatburger, 535 Bayfield Street, Barrie.
At approximately 4:25 AM, an individual arrived in the area on a bicycle. They managed to gain entry to the restaurant at approximately 4:35 AM and left around 4:40 AM.
In only a few minutes, the individual took:
• 5 order-taking tablets
• 1 cash/till drawer where money was kept
• Several juices and cans of pop
• 1 large garbage can
📹 DESCRIPTION FROM SECURITY FOOTAGE
The individual appears to be wearing:
• Black jacket/hoodie with the hood pulled up and face covered
• Grey pants
• Black-and-white Nike-style shoes
• A distinctive bright red/orange Puma backpack with a large Puma logo
• The individual arrived on a bicycle
We are sharing security-camera images in the hope that someone may recognize the clothing, backpack, shoes, bicycle, or other identifying details.
If you believe you have information about this incident, please do not confront anyone. Please contact the Barrie Police Service and provide any information or relevant security-camera footage you may have.
If you are a nearby business or resident with cameras facing Bayfield Street or the surrounding area, please check your footage from approximately 4:20–4:45 AM. The bicycle, backpack, or large garbage can may be particularly noticeable on nearby cameras.
