☕️💕 MEET OUR STAFF: LOGAN 💕☕️
Barista & CEO of Saying “Trueee” 😂

Also known as Logibear or The Loganator, Logan has officially been part of the La Jeune Café family for one whole year! 🎉

Outside of work, you can find her fishing, spending money, collecting Pokémon, doing adorable nails or hanging out with her boyfriend’s two chocolate Lab puppies. 🐶💅 She has also travelled to both Japan and Guatemala! ✈️

Her favourite part of working at La Jeune Café? The matcha, obviously… just kiddingggg! 😂 It’s all the amazing people she gets to work with. 💕

Her go-to drink is a Strawberry Matcha, paired with a Petite Breakfast Sandwich with ham and chipotle.
Her coworkers know her for her cute nails, her tattoos and, of course, always responding with “trueee.”

Logan is completely confident that she would survive the longest in a zombie apocalypse. 🧟‍♀️ Jon still wins for being most likely to make a mess and walk away—miss you, Jon! 😂
She would fully trust Kaija to make her drink, while Jona might receive just a little friendly supervision.

Something customers may be surprised to learn? Logan has approximately 18 tattoos and seven piercings!
Her instant good-mood song is We Are the People by Empire of the Sun. 🎶

☕️💕 MEET OUR STAFF: DANIKA 💕☕️
Our Student Barista, resident traveller and self-proclaimed picky eater!
Danika has been part of the La Jeune Café family for five months, and she loves the overall aesthetic, fun vibes and welcoming atmosphere of the café. Her favourite part of working here is being surrounded by friendly coworkers who are always willing to answer questions and help each other out. 🫶
When she isn’t at the café, Danika loves travelling and camping—and she travelled to both Italy and Greece this year! 🇮🇹🇬🇷 She also has one cat and has been running her own tiny business since she was only 12 years old. Talk about impressive! 👏
Her go-to café order is an Iced Caramel Macchiato paired with our House Caesar Salad—which is pretty fitting for someone known by her coworkers as the café’s pickiest eater. 😂
Danika says something different and funny seems to happen during every shift, Jon is most likely to make a mess and walk away because he gets sidetracked, and she definitely would NOT be the one surviving longest during a zombie apocalypse. 🧟‍♀️🤣
As for her biggest café “ick”? The repeat visitors asking for their third free cup of water while the dish sink is already overflowing. 😂💦

☕️💔 IT’S OFFICIAL… TODAY IS JON’S LAST DAY AT LA JEUNE CAFÉ. 💔☕️
We knew this day was coming, but somehow we are still not ready for it.
For the past two years, Jon has been so much more than one of our baristas. He has become part of our family, part of the heart of La Jeune, and such a special part of the lives of our customers.
He remembers everyone’s drinks, makes every little old lady blush, gets every older gentleman laughing, dances his way through every shift—and somehow manages to leave a trail of mess everywhere he goes. 😂 But we wouldn’t change a single thing about him.
Jon has brought so much laughter, energy, love and absolute chaos into our café. He has been a coworker, a best friend, a brother, a work son, a shoulder to cry on and one of the brightest lights in our little La Jeune family.
As heartbroken as we are to lose him, we are unbelievably proud. Jon is heading off to travel Japan before moving to Toronto to begin the next chapter of his life and pursue his dream of becoming a professional dancer. If anyone deserves to chase a dream this big, it is him. 🥹✨
Jon, thank you for every laugh, every dance break, every drink remembered, every customer you made feel special and every memory you have given us. La Jeune Café will never be quite the same without you—and neither will we.
We love you more than you will ever know. This isn’t goodbye… because once you are family, you are stuck with us forever. 🤍
