Taxi Watch Program Now Active in Amherst
Amherst now has an extra layer of neighbourhood watch protection thanks to the new Taxi Watch program. Local taxis, while out on their normal routes, are keeping an eye on our streets and reporting any suspicious activity directly to the Amherst Police. This community-based initiative helps make our neighbourhoods safer by adding more eyes on the road. A great partnership between local taxi drivers and the community working together for a safer Amherst! 🚖👀
