e proudly served over 200 families and employed 47 dedicated staff members across three locations in Abbotsford and Langley. During those years, we often heard heartbreaking stories, children going to elementary school without lunch or being sent with nothing more than a can of pop and a donut. They reminded us that food insecurity isn’t just a statistic, it’s something happening right here in our communities. Like many small business owners, we faced our share of challenges, saving every bit we could while navigating the uncertainty of COVID-19, all while supporting and growing our childcare business. Those years taught us resilience, patience, and the importance of community. Fast forward to 2025, we finally took a leap of faith. We sold our shares in our childcare company and opened our own kitchen. It’s been a rollercoaster of hard work, learning, and growth, but honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
