Tracycakes is the vision of owner, Tracy Dueck, an avid cook, baker, entertainer, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Tracy’s dream was to create a simple yet beautiful place where people could connect and share meaningful moments over delicious home made food and irresistible treats. Tracy’s dream came true in 2006 when she opened her first cafe and since then she’s been busy trying to keep up with the increasing demand for her signature cupcakes and home made meals. Tracy feels inspired by the warmth of her customers and the appreciation they have for her cafes. Tracy’s goal is to continually give back to her community through the many charities she supports, the year round special events and promotions she offers, and the many inspirational quotes that can be found at the cafes.

17 Years of Friendship, Tea & Tracycakes 💛

For 17 years, Katie and Andrea have been sharing pieces of their lives with us at Tracycakes — and what a privilege it has been to have a front-row seat to their beautiful friendship.

Both teachers and longtime friends, they have celebrated so many chapters around our tables. From two different wedding proposals, to showers, first birthdays, first High Teas with their little ones, and countless cups of coffee and pots of tea in between.

We’ve served the scones, poured the coffee, brought out the cupcakes and helped celebrate the BIG moments.

But perhaps some of our favourite moments have simply been the ordinary ones — two friends sitting across from one another, catching up on life over tea and a scone. Because after 20 years in business, we know those “ordinary” moments often turn out to be some of the most special ones.

They have been with us almost from the beginning, and we have had the joy of watching their lives unfold and change.

And Katie, what a joy to watch your journey from wife, to teacher, to mother, and now Vice PRINCIPAL! We are so incredibly happy for you and proud to celebrate this next chapter with you.

Katie and Andrea, thank you for choosing Tracycakes as one of the places where your friendship has lived for all these years.

The celebrations matter.
The milestones matter.
But most of all, the connections matter.

Say hello to Riley Rempel, our Café Manager at Tracycakes Murrayville! 👋🏻☕️

Riley brings over 15 years of hospitality experience to the Tracycakes team and is passionate about creating welcoming guest experiences and building strong teams. We’re lucky to have his leadership and energy in our Murrayville café!

When he’s not at the café, you’ll find Riley spending time with his spouse and their two dogs 🐶🐶, training in Filipino martial arts, or tending to his garden when the weather cooperates.

We’re so happy to have you as part of the Tracycakes family, Riley! 💛
