Our Diner Family Needs You ❤️
Many of you know Asia — her smile, her kindness, the way she takes care of everyone who walks through our doors. Today, it’s our turn to take care of her.
Asia’s loved one, Aaron Mathews, just 27 years old, was rushed to Abbotsford Hospital on January 9 after suffering multiple seizures. Scans revealed a tumour in the right temporal lobe of his brain. He was quickly transferred to Vancouver General Hospital, where surgeons operated to relieve dangerous pressure on his brain.
The results were devastating — Stage 3 brain cancer.
This type of cancer is viewed as incurable in Canada; however there are treatment options that show great promise in other countries.
What has humbled everyone around him is Aaron’s faith. In the midst of fear and uncertainty, he has shown remarkable courage, maturity, and trust in the Lord. He carries a quiet strength that brings hope into the room — even now.
If you feel led to help, we are asking our beautiful community to come alongside Asia and Aaron during this unimaginable season.
There are two ways to support:
• Donate through the GoFundMe under the name Aaron Mathews (managed by Aaron’s parents). Funds will go toward medical expenses, and treatment options.
Thank you for all the support and prayers❤️Here is the go fund me:)

• Send an e-transfer directly to Aaron at: [email protected]
If you are unable to give financially, we deeply ask for your prayers. We believe in a God who still performs miracles, who walks with us in the valley, and who strengthens the weary.
Thank you for loving our staff the way you always do. It means more than you know. 🎀
