It’s the last day of the season for us so come on by for a pastry, coffee, tea, smoothie, or book! From the beginning, the bookstore part has been important to us, and we hope to expand our book selection when we reopen in November. We will continue to have book trade so you can bring a book and take a book. We’ve also been planning something special, and while we don’t have all the details worked out, with the passing of Dolly this week, it seemed like the right time to announce that we will be starting a free book program for local children. This is something we have been planning for a while, but this seemed like the right week to announce it. I’ll share more details as we get them sorted out. We appreciate everyone who has supported us in our first year of business! What an incredible adventure this has been! We can’t thank you enough, especially those of you who have supported us during the slow season. Super extra special thanks to my mama who has supported us in every possible way you can be supported. She is an angel on earth. Come see me because I will be hiding out for the next 2 months.
