Yesterday, we lost someone who has been part of our family for over twenty years.

Chef Ludo came into our lives at Coral Sands, and when we opened Romora Bay, he didn’t hesitate — he came with us. That’s who he was. A true Frenchman who brought his whole heart into that kitchen every single day.

Anyone who’s ever had his crème brûlée knows — there was nothing else like it. But what we’ll miss most isn’t the food. It’s him. His pride in his food, his friendship, his leadership, his love and respect of all who worked in his kitchen, the way he treated all around him, his love of animals.

Ludo fought this with the same strength he put into everything else. We are heartbroken. Our hearts are with his wife, friends and family.

We love you, Chef. Thank you for twenty years of everything. Rest now.
