commemorated International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples on the 9th August. We at , a coffee grower, processor and exporter of fine Arabica Bourbon coffee cupping at 87 from the Burundi are dedicated to supporting our indigenous people.

Our mission is to care, ensure inclusivity and leave no one behind. We employ and care for the Batwa people (also known as the Twa or the Pygmies of Central Africa). An indigenous group and the oldest recorded inhabitants of the Great Lakes Region in Central Africa. Their name Batwa derives from “twa”, a term in the Bantu languages of Sub-Saharan Africa to describe people who are primarily hunter-gatherers or former hunter-gatherers and the original inhabitants of the area they reside in.

Coffee delivering Environmental benefits

Our award-winning Arabica bourbon grows on 90 hectares across Kayanza and Muyinga provinces in northern Burundi.

We are determined that our operations will help protect our amazing rainforest and grassland environments high in the mountains of northern Burundi. But we go beyond our own operations.

As a growing Burundi company, we believe in giving back to the whole community and to the planet! We are involved in the implementation of a clean energy project that involves the distribution of improved energy efficient stoves to rural and urban households in the North region with the aim of reducing carbon emissions into the atmosphere and to preserve the environment.

We know that our coffee can make a huge difference – to people and the planet!

We never employ anyone under the age of 18 because we are committed to stamping out child labour in our industry.

We ensure that our farmers receive a living wage for all their efforts in growing high quality Bourbon that we process as fully washed, natural or honey coffee.
