It was March and the high winter season was coming to its end, so my husband and I just looked at each other and it was decided - we were going to give the refugees not only shelter, but a home away from home. One week later the rooms were ready - some extra beds, cribs for the babies, desks and chairs for those who worked online, better internet connection. The kitchen was rearranged in a more su

itable space for more people - extra refrigerators, extra working and storage space, food supplies. One more week later we welcomed our first guests from Ukraine. Since then Edelweiss Park Nomad Hub has welcomed people from all over the world. Thanks to the hundreds of miles behind us as travelers and sailors, my husband and I were able to provide everything a nomad needs in our modest building. It has been a safe space for refugees, community kitchen for hot lunches during the refugee crisis, home for nomads, event space, but most of all a kid-friendly community center. Being a formal hotel, the Edelweiss Park Nomad Hub has all the necessary facilities for a pleasant long-term stay: comfortable rooms facing the garden or the Pirin mountain, spacious common space with fast internet connection, kids corner, lounge area in front of the fireplace, private conference room with independent internet connection, professional fully equipped kitchen, bar with a coffee machine, yard with a beautiful garden, underground garage, gym, sauna and what`s even better is the location of the hub - in the heart of the beautiful town of Bansko, Bulgaria.
