Double Standard, the restaurant at The Standard Brussels, shares the same bold personality as the hotel itself.
Layered, expressive and full of character, the interior combines rich materials, warm tones and sculptural forms to create a vibrant yet inviting atmosphere.
To complement this setting, we introduced a carefully curated planting concept that feels fully integrated into the space. Not as a decorative addition, but as a natural extension of the interior.
Throughout the space, a collection of planters with different shapes, textures and finishes creates a subtle rhythm, adding warmth and depth while enhancing the layered character of the design.
One of the most distinctive features is the integration of planting directly into the built-in seating. Here, greenery becomes part of the furniture itself.
The result is a restaurant that feels both lively and welcoming.
