Our hours will be shorter (14:00 to 18:30, last order at 17:00 as usual).

As the World Sushi Cup comes to a close and summer starts winding down...

First of all, a huge congratulations to our champion Jan, who took 3rd place and made it onto the podium🥉🏆 his work was exceptional and we are truly proud of him!!

Reconnecting with the Japanese sushi masters, the chefs from abroad we competed alongside more than 10 years ago, and now the new generation of challengers they've trained — meeting everyone gave us fresh courage to keep challenging ourselves! 💪

Thank you all for an unforgettable competition 🙏

KO'UZI Sushi will keep giving our best in the daily work ahead, while putting everything into preparing for the 2nd Benelux Sushi Cup 🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺

🍣 PROUD MOMENT 🍣

As organiser of the , Ko'uzi sushi was happy to see our first-ever champion, Jan Hkung Tu Du (Holland), represent us today at the World Sushi Cup in Tokyo!

Day 1 was the traditional Edomae sushi competition — out of 28 participants from around the world, Jan made it into the top 15 finalists! The level of competition was seriously impressive 🔥

Tomorrow: the Creative competition. Fingers crossed for a spot on the podium 🤞🏆

Yes, we go quiet sometimes on social media — but when we post, we come back with something good😄

Yakisaba-bōzushi 焼さば棒寿司 is on the menu as seasonal suggestion.
Traditional mackerel sushi, salted and vinegared then grilled, our way: finished with red currant jam for a seasonal twist that makes the umami sing.
On the menu till 20June, don't wait too long!

Next week for this big event Benelux Sushi Cup taking place in Piva culinary school on 1 April.
We are the "main organiser" of the competition and our full team will be busy!!
