In an emergency, access to blood can mean the difference between life and death.
Thailand has introduced its first mobile veterinary blood bank, designed to travel between cities and expand emergency care access for dogs and cats. The unit will collect, store and transport donated blood to clinics that may not have immediate supplies on hand.
Veterinary officials say the goal is to improve response times and make lifesaving treatment more widely available across the country.
