9 𝘈𝘶𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵, 𝘛𝘦𝘫𝘨𝘢𝘰𝘯.
I didn’t mean to stop.
I was just passing through, notebook in my bag, thoughts in pieces.
But the glass façade caught me- tall, almost arrogant in the way it owned the light.
Inside, the air was cooler.
The city’s noise thinned out.
Blue seats. Polished wood. The faintest scent of coffee — not burnt, not bitter, just… right.
I took a table by the window.
They brought me a Spanish omelette folded into a baguette, steam curling out like a secret.
A caramel tart followed- the fork sank in as if the day itself had softened.
Somewhere between bites, I scribbled a line I didn’t want to lose.
I don’t even remember writing it, but it’s here on the page.
By the time the shrimp salad arrived, the light had shifted: golden, almost theatrical.
Outside, cars kept moving.
Inside, I forgot the hour.
I left with a full stomach and a few sentences I didn’t have before.
Not bad for an unplanned stop!
Warm Regards,
"Me"
