Umai is a contemporary Japanese cuisine restaurant where you get to experience freshly sourced, authentically prepared and immaculately presented sushi, sashimi and many more of your favorite Japanese dishes. We pride ourselves on authentic Japanese cuisine that combines elements of Japan’s legendary cooking technics and recipes along with the latest tastes. With an experience of more than 25 years as a sushi chef, our Executive Chef has worked in various renowned restaurants in several countries which include Japan, Canada, South Africa, Hungary, Russia, Norway, Monaco & Greece. Umai appeals to the eyes as well as the palate, combining a subtle infusion of modern architecture and Japanese aesthetics, brought to life with graceful bold colors, creating a modern, minimalist-style dining environment. The Restaurant offers a comfortable yet sophisticated dining room, the perfect place to savor the freshest sushi, sashimi, tempura and an assortment of Japanese salads, meats, fish dishes and other delicacies.

We tried everything from salmon rolls and sushi sandwiches to ramen, teriyaki and fried rice. The rolls were the highlight for me, especially seeing how many different combinations were on the table.
