Yellow Bird is located at the start of St. Lawrence Bay on the south coast of Barbados. This 18 room boutique hotel underwent a US $1.25 million renovation during summer 2015. The extensive project included a total face lift to all guest rooms and public areas including the building’s exterior, lobby & reception, public rest rooms and restaurant. Yellow Bird also earned the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame Award 2016, having consistently won the Certificate of Excellence Award for 7 consecutive years and most recently was selected as one of the TOP 25 Caribbean Hotels for Romance, Service and in the Small Hotels Category. We’re hiring!

Yellow Bird Hotel, Blue Haven Holiday Apartments Barbados, and South Gap Hotel are seeking a qualified and experienced Accounting Officer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, excellent attention to detail, and at least three years of relevant experience.

Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications to [email protected] by September 30, 2026.
