What dish says “Tablelands” to you? 🍽️

The Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) is celebrating 130 years, and to mark the occasion they’re creating a commemorative cookbook called ‘A Shared Table’. The cookbook will feature one recipe from each of Queensland’s 77 local government areas, showcasing the flavours, traditions and stories that make every community unique.

What recipe best captures the Tablelands? Is it a family favourite passed down through generations? A dish featuring our incredible local produce? Something that reflects the diverse cultures and communities that call the Tablelands home? Does it feature the choko wildcard?

Food has a wonderful way of telling the story of a place. Would love to hear your story!

As the mountain air turns crisp, there’s something special about gathering around the table at Little Eden.

Start with creamy paprika prawns nestled on roasted capsicum purée with delicate taro crisps, or share our irresistible mozzarella cheese balls – golden, gooey and impossible to stop at just one.

For something truly comforting, our mushroom and thyme pastry served with crunchy rosemary salt potatoes is the perfect winter indulgence, while our slow-roasted pork shoulder with honey carrot mash, pistachio and cranberry crumble delivers all the warmth and richness the season calls for.

Another beautiful wedding celebrated at Little Eden this weekend. 💕✨

From the ceremony to the final dance, it was a day filled with love, laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable memories.

Did you know that after a wedding weekend, our team is often straight back into restaurant service?

One day we're setting tables for a wedding reception, the next we're serving cocktails, romantic and family dinners, and catch-ups with friends.

It's one of the things we love most about Little Eden – every day is different, but hospitality is always at the heart of what we do.

🍸✨ What a night! ✨🍸

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Little Eden Cocktail Party. What an incredible evening it turned out to be!

Sam from Wolf Lane and our very own Rocio were mixing up an absolute storm behind the bar, the cocktails were flowing, the music was playing, and our kitchen team kept the delicious dishes coming all night long. From the first canapé to the last sweet bite, it was wonderful to see so many people laughing, mingling and enjoying themselves.

Now… can we talk about the weather?! 🥶 We certainly weren’t expecting the Tablelands to turn on a 6°C evening! You all deserve medals for braving the cold in your gorgeous frocks and dinner jackets.

Seeing new friendships formed, old friends catch up, and everyone embracing the fun reminded us exactly why we love hosting events like these.

🍷 What a fantastic evening at our very first Little Eden Wine Club!

New friendships were made, plenty of laughs were shared, and together we explored a range of wine styles in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night such a success. It was wonderful to see so many people discovering new wines, sharing their thoughts, and realising that wine doesn’t have to be intimidating—it should be enjoyed.
