Our Recruitment books are open again ahead of the busy Summer season… this time of year is one of those times throughout the year we find staff are on the move for one reason or another. Hence, varying staff positions become available…

There are now a number of positions up for the taking. Needed in the Back of House…Chef, Apprenticeship Chef, Food Preparation Person, Kitchen Porter (dishie). Needed in Front of House…Baristas, those with RSA certification.

Getting to see the delight on someone’s face when they take their first bite of what lay before them, discover a beverage they’ve never had before or as the stroll through you take sheer pleasure in seeing eyes wide with glee, hearing their oos and arrs. Our little Yum Yum family are looking for passionate, reliable baristas to join our fast paced and energetic front of house team. Our obsession with Allpress Espresso dates back to our early days in Angourie. It’s all about quality...hot air roast coffee fresh to order, consistent, ethical and delicious. You be operating a gold La Marzocco triple head, automatic Grinder along with a PUK Press, milk is juggler feed. You’ll be working in a supportive environment where you’ll be encouraged to grow and to learn new skills. There are future opportunities for growth as our little in utero addition is due in August. Doesn’t it dishearten you when you turn up for work and a person/s have taken your property without your permission.
The outside chairs were scattered about from where they were packed up and nest overnight. The the realisation that a gift from my Dad, a handmade table from timber that had sentimental value has been purposely taken. Unbeknown to the thief are the hidden security cameras that have your smiling face caught on camera. You have a moment of grace before the image is given to the police and Instagram. No we don’t know you but someone will. Please return the table, not in the middle of the night under darkness. Put your big girl pants on and try having a conscience...leave it in the front courtyard please.

Offering a beautiful environment that captivates the experience of times gone by where was opportunity to laze away an hour or two over a hot cuppa and home made deliciousness for a wee while. The conversation was light, the mood cheery, the laughter came from the belly, it was inclusive.
