A massive shout out to the team at Woodcroft Fresh Fish, Seafood & Grill for this epic platter Scott picked up for our Sunday arvo this week.

Home from work by 12, PJs on, glass of bubbles, giant seafood platter while watching the basketball on the TV. After the week we had last week we needed a little afternoon recovery time and this hit the spot. Although, who are the silly ones who brought up this kiddo to be a seafood lover?? We had to share with little Miss and she doesn’t hold back 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good news but please read until the end….

We will have some ready meals available tomorrow but numbers are quite limited and I’m sure they will sell quickly.

They won’t be packaged and ready until 9am as I must get some catering orders out first thing tomorrow and we are a tad short-staffed unexpectedly.

On the menu…..

Tuna Mornay Rice Bake
Hidden Veg Nepolitana Penne
Creamy Chicken Mushroom with Mash

And…….

I am hoping to get a Classic Spaghetti Bolognese done in the morning but no promises 😅😅

Next week… we again have a huge amount of catering happening but we will try our best to get as many meals as possible done. It’s likely it won’t be on our regular days but I will keep you all updated as the week progresses.

I am well behind posting pics of last weeks catering jobs. I’m drowning in photos 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️💧💦

Last week took us all over the place. 2 days with Hourglass Timeless Education, teacher appreciation day at School of the Nativity, many birthday parties and packs headed out on picnics all over the place.

This week has started really similar!! Please note this weekend is fully booked with tables and boxes. If you do want something for the weekend we can possibly fit in a couple more Friday arvo orders. Most of our grazing boxes refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Update ✨✨✨

Unfortunately due to some last minute unexpected staffing limitations this week we will not have ready meals available for purchase on Tuesday as usual. We have a large volume of catering orders this week. We will work around them to make as many meals as we possibly can which we hope to have available on Wednesday.

Please keep an eye on our socials for updates.

We do however have a few portions of frozen meals left if you are stuck. Plantbased Veg Curry and Curried Sausages.

It’s like a ghost town this arvo so we are taking a moment and closing early.

We will see all our wonderful catering customers over the weekend and cafe will be back open from 7am Monday.

Heat and Eat ready meals. What are your favourites? Is there something new you want to see? Do we want the premium options back ($12-$14) as well as the budget options? I am getting loads of requests for low cooked items. Do we really want that with the weather warming up? Or more salads?

Family size serves were a massive fail for us. When we open back up preorders we may bring them back for select items but not all. We will see how that goes.
