Proudly family-run since the early 1940s and now in its fourth generation of care, ‘The Interstate’—as fondly known by locals—blends historic charm with warm hospitality. Conveniently located in Whitemark on the island’s western side, it provides easy access to Flinders Island’s commercial centre, making it an ideal base for any stay.

Its the Girls’ Fiji trip and the big birthdays are taking over, so from this Friday 17 July until Sunday 26 July, the Flinders Island Interstate Hotel won’t be serving lunches. The Corner Café will be open as normal during this time, and at night we’ll have a limited dinner menu available. Thanks for your understanding!

Plan your visit! 🍔 This Thursday is our special Burger Night, perfect for a midweek treat. Please note, the hotel, corner cafe, and dining room will be closed all day on Good Friday. We'll be back to normal hours on Saturday and Sunday, and our cafe will be open on Easter Monday from 8:00 to 11:30 am, but please remember, there are no lunches on Monday.
