Today we give a little extra love to the people who do so much for their communities, and we’re pretty lucky to have Joe from across the road as one of them.

Joe, thank you for always looking out for the people around you, for being such a familiar face in our little community, and for paying it forward in such a thoughtful way this morning. 🫶

Grand Final weekend is here! 🏆🏉

And how good to see Ulverstone represented on the biggest stage, with Fremantle’s Alex calling our little coastal town home. 💜

And thanks to the Ulverstone Football Club our footy decs here at Hey Buddy came 3rd in the town!! We are so proud of how our town is getting behind the game!!

Now it’s down to Freo v Lions this weekend… 🦁

We loved keeping everyone warm with hot chocolates ☕️

What a fantastic performance,well done to the students, teachers, parents and all the behind-the-scenes legends! 👏

And with all the whales hanging around Ulverstone this week, we reckon they heard the Little Mermaid was on and didn’t want to miss out. 🐋😂

Apparently there’s a pretty big game on this weekend… and a certain local legend is playing in it! 💜
Even Mannie from the local has jumped the road and joined the Freo hype, so you KNOW things are getting serious. 😂💜
However you’re spending Grand Final weekend, at home, at the pub, yelling at the telly or pretending you suddenly understand every AFL rule ,do it responsibly. Look after yourself and your mates!
And most importantly… fuel up at Hey Buddy first. ☕🍳

Today was a BIG one at Hey Buddy ☕️🖤

To our incredible community, thank you for the patience, the kindness, the laughs and for absolutely filling the tip jar. You clearly took one look at us running around and thought, “Yep… they need a bit of love today.” 😂

Our regulars, our gym crew, our footy boys, "Mr and Mrs Herb”, our very talented local children’s artist Ross and of course Leon — who is basically part of the furniture now 😂❤️ Always there, always supporting us, always up for a chat and very much part of the Hey Buddy family. We appreciate you!

And some new faces today too, the Hoppers Basketball crew 🏀 We loved having you! What a wonderful group of young players!

To our team… what a bloody crew. ❤️

You ran your socks off, backed each other up, kept smiling and somehow kept the wheels on when things got a little spicy. 😂

Thanks for continuing to choose our little cafe and making Hey Buddy what it is. 🫶☕️
