Experienced Barista / Café All-Rounder

A Classy Cafe & Espresso Bar is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Barista/Café All-Rounder to join our team.

If you thrive in a fast-paced café, love creating great customer experiences and take pride in your work, we’d love to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:

* Experience making consistently great coffee in a busy café
* Confidence dialling in the grinder and adjusting coffee throughout the day
* Knowledge of espresso extraction and the ability to recognise a good shot from a bad one
* Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
* Team player who is happy to jump in wherever needed
* Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure

What you’ll be doing:

* Making quality coffee
* Serving customers with a smile
* Taking orders and using the POS
* Preparing cold drinks and light food
* Keeping the café clean, stocked and running smoothly
* Supporting the team across all areas of the café

What we offer:

* 25–30 hours per week, with more hours available for the right person
* A supportive, fun and hardworking team
* A fast-paced workplace where quality and customer service matter
* Opportunity to grow your skills and develop within the business

There are moments in life when grief and purpose meet… and this is one of them. 🧡

I couldn’t be prouder to share that Leigh’s legacy will continue to make an impact on our beautiful community through the Leigh Torrisi Local Legend Award.

Working alongside the Wauchope Chamber to help bring this award to life has been incredibly special. I’m so grateful for their support, and for the love and encouragement our community has shown in helping keep Leigh’s memory alive. He lived by kindness, generosity, connection and always making time for others, so it feels only fitting that his name will now recognise people who do the same.

I honestly can’t wait to present this award to its very first recipient.
