MUMS… tomorrow is going to be BIG 💐✨

First of all… wow.The support you guys have shown us for Mother’s Day honestly means the world. Seeing so many families choosing to spend their morning with us here at Vacy General Store is something we don’t take lightly 🫶

Our tables are officially fully booked for breakfast tomorrow morning, and we are expecting a very busy service — so thank you in advance for your patience, kindness, and support while our team does their thing behind the scenes to make the morning as special as possible 🤎

Now for the last-minute people… 👀If you’ve left Mother’s Day shopping to the final hour — don’t panic, we’ve still got you covered.

From beautiful little giftware pieces, flowers, candles, goodies, treats, and thoughtful finds… there’s still time to grab something special for Mum 🌸

And YES… before you ask 👀There will absolutely be vanilla slice available tomorrow 😏

We’ll also have our small slice gift boxes ready to go in the cabinet, with backup stocked and ready because let’s be honest… we know how you guys are when it comes to the slices 😂🤍

VACY WAS ELECTRIC THIS WEEKEND ⚡️

What. A. Weekend. (And it’s only Saturday)

We didn’t just roll into Friday…
we hit the ground running with a catering job for a school excursion getting a taste of farm life 🚜

Then by Friday afternoon —
we launched our spiked cans 🍸
and wow… you guys did not hold back.

With Tocal Field Days kicking off, we saw so many new faces making the extra trip out to see what we’re all about — and that honestly means everything to us.

Saturday?
A whole different kind of magic.

We dropped our custard cups… and let’s just say —
pina colada had a MOMENT 🥥🔥

The vanilla slice cabinet?
Lost count of how many times we restocked it.
At one point they weren’t even making it to the fridge…
straight off the bench and into your hands.

AND the bikes… 🔥
The mystery poker run rolled through and brought a wave of motorbike riders into town — Vasey was absolutely pumping. Nothing better than seeing the streets full and the community buzzing like that.

A constant flow through the doors,
a cheeky little TikTok in the middle of it all (because happy staff = everything 😏),
and just an all-round vibe you can’t fake.

This weekend has been next level —
and it’s all because of YOU.

So thank you. Truly. 🤎

We’re so proud to officially be jumping on board as sponsors for A Country Lunch this August — a community-led event raising funds for Vacy Public School and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter 🚁

🙌It's official! In 2026 we will be carrying the community-minded legacy of the Riverside Vacy Charity Cutting Day into a new fundraising event, to continue supporting Vacy Public School & the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

A Country Lunch will be held in Vacy on Saturday the 22nd August, from 12pm til 6pm.

It will be a catered event, with a bar and entertainment.

Save the date, and keep an eye out here as we share exciting details of our event over the coming weeks, as well as information regarding how you can get involved.
