Employment Offer: Barista / Cafe Server

Our Maria Island Cafe crew is expanding for the upcoming season and you might be the person we are looking for! Located in the heart of Triabunna, our cafe offers exceptional service in offering quality coffee and food for locals and guests travelling to Maria Island and the East Coast.

In this role, we are seeking a barista and front of house server for our Spirit Of Maria Café in Triabunna. Applicants should have a fun and vibrant passion for people and a keen interest to work in a professional team to deliver the highest level of customer service in our café. We require someone who has a strong and professional work ethic, who can manage working early morning shifts and weekend hours. The position will begin as a causal position on a rotating roster with a spread of either full time or part time hours.

Experience is preferred but not essential as training in our team will be provided.

Early starts from 6am are required for the position and up to 8hrs per day.

A service announcement to all of our wonderful customers and supporters, we will regrettably be closed for a week between this coming Thursday 22nd of August to the following Thursday 29th of August. We will be using this time for some kitchen restructure, maintenance and to give our amazing cafe staff a break before we get busy in September leading into our tourism season. Just a quick message for our locals that our Cafe in Triabunna will be closed for the day tomorrow (Tuesday) so that we can bring staff together and celebrate the end of the season. Our apologies for any inconvenience. Will be back open on Wednesday 🎉

We loving bringing Lipscombe Larder’s famous cakes to Triabunna. They have supported our cafe from the very beginning and supply the beloved carrot cake for our tours to Maria Island. This week in our cafe we have Pecan Pie, Lemon Meringue Pie, Top Deck Cheesecake and a tangy Lemon & Lime Cheesecake. Call in this weekend and have a taste!
