Biggest of congratulations to our very own Jack and his beautiful wife Olivia 🎉
Last night we celebrated their wedding up here, watching as their family and friends from different circles across their lives (and across countries) joined to share in the love of these two lovely people. Jack has been a key part of our weekend team (and occasional gardener) this year, serving up front and making coffees to hundreds as they passed through our doors. More than that he has been a friend and consistent source of steadiness in the chaos that is often our weekends. As Jack and Olivia begin their married lives together they will be moving abroad to serve others in mission, and so we are very sad to see him go and we wish them the best as they enter this new chapter 🤍

Last weekend we had the special privilege of not only hosting a wedding, but being part of the day itself! Jason was best man to his long-time school friend on this beautiful day, celebrating love and two lives coming together.

We were too in-the-moment (like preparing speeches and serving the bar haha) to remember to take photos, so here's what remains in memory of the celebration that was had!

We are hiring! Looking for enthusiastic members to join our team preparing drinks, food & serving to customers. Both junior and senior positions available for Saturday and Sunday hours.

Roles will include a mix of:
- barista (preparing and serving hot and cold drinks)
- kitchen (cooking and preparing meals and desserts)
- counter and welcoming (taking orders, directing people to their seats, answering inquiries)
- clean up (clearing tables and dish washing)
- connecting as part of the team to communicate effectively and work together
Previous experience encouraged but not required

For those who are already booked in, we will be running an all-day breakfast buffet to celebrate Mother’s Day this year.

$20 for a medium plate
$30 for a large plate
Kids under 5 eat free with paying adult
Inc. toast, bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, black tea.

We will still have our regular drinks and desserts menu available to order from.

We will be closed this Monday 4th May for the Labour Day public holiday. Open again on Wednesday 6th!
