Quick SPG Prawn Pasta

Don’t overthink how to use your rubs and seasonings….sometimes the simplest, quickest dishes are the best.

Cook some pasta of your choice, we used fettuccine. Add butter, SPG and a small red chilli (optional) to a pan. Add cleaned, shelled prawns and cook til just cooked through. Add the pasta to the pan you used to cook the prawns along with a small amount of cooking water, add prawns back and mix til pasta is fully seasoned. Serve topped with some fresh parsley and extra chilli if you prefer.

Potato scones AKA Tattie scones

Breakfast staple
Warning no Coast n Smoke was used in the making of this…. They are just yum

Recipe
500g mashed potato
30g butter
125g self raising flour

Add the butter to the potatoes while mashing then mix with flour to form a dough.
Tip onto a well floured surface and roll out til 5mm thick. Cut into triangles and cook in a hot dry pan.
Transfer to a cooling rack and enjoy asap with lashings of butter
