Toowoomba carnival of flowers. 2026. Working 19days straight, 5am alarms, leaving in the dark and some days coming back home in the dark. 10 to 14 hour days of putting up a smile and giving people the same service over and over again, missing my kids for 19days. Going up against a big brand and all the stress that comes with running a small business wasn’t easy. But we made it through. Did it along some amazing hard working and kind small local business people. Made new friends, met many new customers and even got asked out by a cute guy. You work hard, feel drained but get so much back from it. Small business, real feelings, personal stories. Thanks to everyone who supported me and made me smile when I felt like crying sometimes.
