The cold weather has made our chef very adventurous, Irish seafood chowder cream base (scallop, prawns and Atlantic salmon )on the stove this week so come on in and try a bowl.
Served with crusty bread.

❄️ Snow Watch | Guyra & Northern Tablelands | Sunday 9th -Monday 10th August 2026

There remains a chance of some snow across the higher parts of the Northern Tablelands tonight into Monday morning, particularly around Guyra.

The latest modelling remains mixed. ECMWF is currently showing close to 2 cm of new snow, GFS around 0.7 cm and the high-resolution ACCESS-C model is showing a very light amount. However, the broader ACCESS and ICON models are currently showing no snow at all at 9am Sunday 9/8/26

This is a very marginal setup, so even a small change in temperature, moisture or the timing of the colder air could determine whether we see snow, sleet, cold rain — or nothing at all.

At this stage, I’d call it a Snow Watch rather than a Snow Chase.

If it’s gonna snow, I’ll let you know. ❄️
