THE EDWARD LUMBLEY PIE 🥧
Braised Angus beef and stout pie, mushy peas, gravy. $15.

Edward Burton Lumbley poured the first b**r here in 1876. He was bankrupt by 1879 and stayed on as licensee another five years — the first of many to find this place hard to walk away from.

Five dishes, all $15, on until Sunday 4 October. Plenty of time to work through them.

A multi-course feast with wines to match and the best produce the region has to offer.

Meet the “Scotty” Black Scotch Fillet Burger, one of five dishes created for our 150th birthday celebration.
 
Named after Scotty Black, Australian water polo player and Courthouse publican in the 1930s, it’s a little taste of Courthouse history.
