If you’ve been following along with our little Safari Club makeover, you’ll know I’ve been quietly bragging about my beautiful wife, Juzzy… her paintings, her music, and the incredible heart she pours into everything she creates. ❤️🎨🎙️

Well… now you get to experience it for yourselves. ✨

❤️ A proud husband moment… if you’ll indulge me.

As part of our little Safari Club mini makeover, we’re doing more than freshening up the restaurant… we’re filling it with pieces of our family’s story.

Many of you know Juzzy as the one behind the scenes at Safari Club, but outside these four walls she’s also a jazz vocalist, writer and artist. Over the past few months she’s been quietly creating a collection of original oil paintings inspired by Africa, and I couldn’t be prouder.

🕯️ Lanterns of the Okavango was the first. Inspired by the magic of the Okavango Delta, where lantern light dances across the water and every sunset feels like the beginning of another adventure. It captures that feeling of slowing down, breathing deeply and appreciating the journey.

🤝 Ubuntu – I Am Because We Are is the one closest to our hearts. If you look closely, you’ll find our whole family woven into the painting. It tells our story… a reminder that none of this—our family, our restaurant, or this journey—would exist without each other. Ubuntu is more than a title; it’s the way we’ve tried to live.

💌 Letters from Zanzibar is currently on the easel. Inspired by the old spice markets of Zanzibar, it’s a romantic glimpse into another time—where traders, travellers and storytellers crossed paths, and every street felt like it had a thousand stories waiting to be told. It’s the kind of place that makes you wonder who wrote the letters… and who was waiting to receive them.

Soon these pieces will be hanging here at Safari Club… just as soon as the paint dries! 🤣🎨
