2 years ago, we restarted from zero — with nothing but passion, a tiny team, a simple idea, and a lot of uncertainty, quietly starting out on Cleveland Street in Surry Hills. 🍙❤️

Looking back at these little memories now honestly feels so emotional.

From our tiny hole-in-the-wall shop to growing into different communities across Sydney, every small step was only possible because of your love and support.

Loved by you, we kept going. 🤍

2 years ago, our 15 flavours of onigiri were still wrapped in our little handmade purse packaging — quietly made by a tiny team restarting from zero in our OG Surry Hills shop. 🍙❤️

Today, our upgraded 2.0 packaging with crunchy seaweed has carried us much further than we ever imagined. 🤍

From 1 small shop, Mogu Mogu has now grown into 3 shops, partnerships with different communities across Sydney, and recently reached our biggest milestone yet — over 1,300 handmade onigiri made in a single day. 🍙🥺

But honestly, beyond the numbers, what means the most to us is seeing this little Onigiri community slowly grow together over the past 2 years. ❤️

From students, office workers, families, hospital staff, and customers who became friends… thank you for supporting a small Asian brand like ours and allowing Mogu Mogu to become part of your daily lives. 🤍

We truly hope to continue growing, improving, and sharing more onigiri with you for many more years to come. 🍙
