Second day fried kopytka with bacon and onion anyone?

Everyone can do it, simply cook some potatoes, then mash them, once they are cooled add an egg and flour, finally roll them into your favourite shapes. You keep adding flour until the dough stops sticking to your fingers. You can鈥檛 make a mistake here, you might end up with softer or harder kopytka, but they are going to be delicious anyway.

No idea how to satisfy your tummy this winter? Just throw on the frying pan some shredded potatoes with spices, flour and eggs to get this beautiful Polish dish called placki ziemniaczane. It goes nicely with a cup of kefir.
