POV: You've got the weekend off.

Weekend off just means catching up on all the jobs you didn't have time to do while you were working.

No customers.
No orders.
No events.

Just cleaning, re-stocking, organising and convincing yourself this counts as relaxing.

I'm starting to think my boss doesn't respect work-life balance… 🙄

It started with a coffee and a scroll (Cinnamon of course) but ended with an hour-long conversation with another business owner I'd only just met.

We covered coffee, suppliers, staffing, SOCIAL MEDIA 🙄, council approvals, rising costs and somehow solved half the world's problems before finishing our drinks.

Turns out all small business owners are the same… We never really switch off.

Tag a small business owner who turns every coffee catch-up into a business meeting. ☕😂

When you spend all week making coffee for other people, sometimes you've just got to grab the dog, go for a walk and enjoy one you didn't have to make for yourself.

Everyone thinks running a coffee van is “just driving around making coffee” until they realise you become the procurement manager, content creator, mechanic, event manager, problem solver and caffeine dealer all before 10am. ☕️

We went to the Cafe and Coffee trade show, looking for ways to make The Creamy Bean even better for the people who line up at the window every day. Because behind every “quick coffee” is someone constantly trying to level up the experience.

Most people see the cup.
They don’t see the work behind it.

Running a coffee van is all fun and games until the weather changes its mind. ☔🍩

The footy got washed out.
The donuts did not.

So if anyone needs us, we'll be conducting a thorough quality control inspection of our inventory.

It's a hard life, but we're committed to the cause. 😂

This auction was a little different for us.

We were there serving coffee…
but the house being auctioned was my late grandfather’s.

For most, it was just another Saturday auction.
For us, it was the end of a chapter.

Memories from years ago, moments we remember.
It was really special and a little bittersweet at the same time.

Strange how life works sometimes, pouring coffees outside a place that holds so many memories. ☕

We were honoured to work with on this one and a shoutout to for their article.
