FREE ACTIVITIES.
🎀 Tomorrow morning we will be continuing our Chandelier making with ribbons. This time we will add some beeds to those we made so please bring any beeds that you may have, even old necklaces that you don't will serve its purpose.
A beautiful and meaningful craft activity for our group! 💖 Creating a chandelier from ribbons is not just about making something beautiful—it represents creativity, connection, strength, and the beauty of women coming together. Each ribbon adds its own colour and character, just like every woman brings something special to our group. Together, we create something brighter and more meaningful.

Macarthur Women's Coffee Club is a project of Rainbow Crossing Inc.
Every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm.
Free morning tea and play for the kids.

✨ Fashion with a story. A runway with a purpose where we meet every week. ✨

Some of us were there at last Saturday’s Lavashe Couture Fashion Exposé at Oz Funland. It was so much more than beautiful garments and striking accessories. Behind every piece of fabric, every detail and every step down the runway was a story. ❤️

Tito Siania Stowers who created this event founded, I Survive Therefore I Speak, where he gives voice and support to fellow survivors of child abuse, turning his own journey into a platform for courage, healing and hope. 🌟

No Home, My Home started with Sharon Robertson's interest in helping those who are homeless. 🏠We cannot imagine life without a home to live in but there are many doing it tough.

Today, Sharon collected 133 beautiful pieces of knitting: 58 blankets, 68 beenies, 2 scarves and 5 teddies 🧶made by our wonderful group of ladies, which will bring warmth and comfort to so many in need. Maria Barone, Antoinette Wadih Salloum, Amal Hijazi, Rina Sharma, Suzanne Gaut, Gina Rose Anne Rouse, Tanya and many others have been bringing these in as part of our knitting project.

Sharon also taught us how to make some pretty paper flowers to add more joy. Chris Sephton brought a heap of mandarins from her garden for us. It's a circle of kindness indeed.

Macarthur Women's Coffee Club is facilitated by Rainbow Crossing Inc for our community. Thank you Lomandra Community Project & ladies for delicious delights.

🏆 Some of the biggest impacts start with the smallest moments at Rainbow Crossing Inc from 2013.

💛 Some of us volunteered at the Parramatta & Cumberland Young Champions Awards last Friday and witnessed so many astounding under 19yr olds being recognised as finalists and winners.

Thank you to each one who made an effort to volunteer and support young people's achievements.

We are very grateful to Renee Lawson of Outback Steakhouse Leumeah for being a great big supporter of Rainbow Crossing Inc.
On 1st of July we hosted our Happiest Morning Tea raising funds for the 24hour Fight Against Cancer 2026 and all the guests got to taste delicious food from this top restaurant.

💖"So pretty" said Rosy who admired the ribbon chandeliers. They are a work in progress so we will continue next week adding beads, decorative things.

❤️Just as each ribbon adds colour and beauty to our chandelier, every woman brings her own strength, story and light. When we come together, our individual contributions become something greater—a symbol of unity, connection, hope and the power of women supporting women.

🎂We celebrated Laurie Starr's, Amal Hijazi's & Bimla Raman's birthdays in style.
🎀Our dear Anna De Nuntiis, breast cancer warrior came with lots of goodies announcing her charity day in September. Tammy Wells made pretty pink bags for her to give out too.

🍛63 meals were prepared by volunteers for the Macarthur Community Kitchen. Angel Gifts for Rainbow Crossing Inc angel card goes with every meal too.
🧶Maria Barone & Antoinette Wadih Salloum brought their knitting to donate to No Home, My Home -Sharon Robertson next Wednesday.

🌈This is a Rainbow Crossing Inc initiative and we are very grateful to Macarthur Fresh 2560 and Lomandra Community Project for their donations too.

Also, tomorrow is the last day to give your names for the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur Ladies Luncheon that many of us like to support. Please message us if you like to sit with us.
Next week we will be presenting our woollen project things to No Home, My Home so please bring beenies, throws & blankets if you have already made some so that we can help the homeless. Those who like to knit come over and learn from our experts Maria Barone & Antoinette Wadih Salloum

It's cold but we spread warmth.
🌲❄️Around us Christmas in July theme is being celebrated, so some of us encouraged each other to rehearse and sing 'White Christmas' at the Rainbow Crossing Inc fundraiser at Oz Funland.
The audience joined in and gave us wonderful feedback. Join us every Wednesday morning to sing, dance and do some gentle movement too.

A fabulous time of coming together for a great cause. As Ricardo Lonza said we are lucky to have food but for those who don't, every meal makes a big difference. So Rainbow Crossing Inc started the Macarthur Community Kitchen. Thank you to all who help in creating fundraisers and supporting them.

Oh what a beautiful day with Dianne Williams and all who came today to enjoy the activities at Macarthur Women's Coffee Club.

Dianne was Glinda the Good Witch in the Wizard Of Oz Interactive show in 2001 in Sydney and so she brought her scrapbooking pages to show how hobbies can improve mental health.
We sang, we had a chat over morning tea and cooked 61 meals for the homeless too.
Some of us are also very excited in attending this Friday's Spin & Win Is Back event raising funds for Rainbow Crossing Inc.
