THIS NEEDS TO STOP.

We unfortunately need to address another ongoing issue at the rear of Chevron Tavern.

Our 10c container collection bins are there for a reason — we collect these containers specifically to raise money for charity.

People have repeatedly been entering our private property and removing containers from these bins, despite having been asked on numerous occasions to stay out of this area and leave them alone.

These containers have been collected and set aside by Chevron Tavern for our chosen charity. Taking them means taking money directly away from something our Tavern and community are committed to supporting.

This is private property, not a public collection point or somewhere to help yourself.

We have asked nicely. We have asked repeatedly.

Please stay off our private property and stop taking containers from our charity collection bins.

Every 10 cents adds up — and we would much rather see that money go where it was intended: to charity.

A QUICK MESSAGE FROM CHEVRON TAVERN

Unfortunately, we need to address an ongoing issue with people dumping their personal and household rubbish into Chevron Tavern’s bins.

Our bins are private bins, paid for by the Tavern for the disposal of our own business waste. They are not public bins, and they are certainly not the back street’s communal skip bin.

When outside rubbish is dumped into them, our bins overflow, leaving our staff to deal with and dispose of rubbish that does not belong to our business — on top of the waste removal service we already pay for.

Please be respectful of our business and our staff and do not use Chevron Tavern’s bins for private rubbish disposal.

We’d much rather spend our staff’s time looking after our customers than cleaning up someone else’s rubbish.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR RUBBISH OUT OF OUR BINS.
