We want to thank our community for supporting Dragon Express for the past 15 years, and for all those that have followed us for our entire culinary journey beforehand.

Our family came to Australia as refugees over 40 years ago with no possessions to hold onto except each other. Through this community, we have been able to share our family recipes, take a leap into opening our own small business, and create a place filled with so many beautiful memories.

From all of us, it has been a pleasure to be able to serve our community. The past few weeks have shown us the true impact we have had, and how much love and happiness our small slice of Sunshine was able to bring to so many people.

Throughout the years, our growing family have all contributed to our family business. While studying to become teachers, engineers, developers, pharmacologists, accountants and analysts, Dragon Express was their second home. Now that they are growing their own families, we are looking forward to retirement and enjoying time with the next generation of the Dragon Express family.

If you didn't get a chance to say a last goodbye, Lim will be working at his cousin's restaurant (Orient Express Derrimut) from Wednesday for the next few weeks, before joining his brothers in retirement.

Opening our doors for one last time tonight!

Goodbye to a Sunshine favourite

After years of feeding locals with late-night lemon chicken, sizzling Mongolian beef and those iconic bags of prawn crackers, Dragon Express closes its doors tomorrow.

And with the whole area set to change soon, it really feels like the end of an era.

If you’ve ever grabbed a quick take-out, or sat inside for a feast… now’s the time for one last visit.

Mother's Day is next weekend!

Dragon Express will be open ALL DAY (11am-3pm, 4:30pm-10pm) Sunday 10th May so bring your beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, partner or person you love along to a succulent Mother's Day meal at your favourite local family restaurant. How can you go by without some delicious Honey Chicken!

Reservations are highly recommended! Please call 9077 8812 or 9312 6968 during our normal opening hours (Tues - Sun, 4:30pm - 10pm) to make a reservation or pre-order for delivery.
