It’s the cackle for me.

So many of you tagged me in the viral pom pom coffee table Kristy Mclennan made, which meant of course I had to Pom Pom something myself.

This boring wooden Kmart mirror was chosen, and 10 bags of pom poms, many sticks of hot glue, a couple of burns later here she is!

Time to grout my table top, yes yes yes I didn’t have any PPE, don’t come at me.

Now to decide what to do with the edge. Thinking of square tiles that are the same width?
Or gluing some kind of edging on?

It’s time for me to start thinking about Halloween 2026. Mainly so I have enough time to bake, ice, bag and sticker 800+ mini cookies 😅

It’s a big job, months of prep, freezers full of cookie dough, benches covered in fondant, back aching team work from friends and family when it comes to bagging and stickering every cookie.

BUT I wouldn’t trade it for the world, because come 3pm October 31st, the streets come alive, the community is out talking, laughing and catching up. The costumes are incredible, the joy is infectious.

Sooo what theme do you suggest for the front garden, cake display.. and my own costume?

A quick trip to New Zealand to spend some time with my beautiful Great Aunt Evelyn. ❤️

This incredible woman is talented in more ways than I can count, pottery, art, gardening, and so much more. She’s the person I turn to for gardening advice, creative inspiration when I’m feeling stuck, and someone who always helps me see things from a fresh perspective.

Aunty Evelyn has been one of my biggest supporters, both in life and online, and I’m so grateful for her.

I have many treasures throughout my home, but this stunning Crown Lynn tea set might just be my favourite yet. It will definitely be taking pride of place — now I just need a Mustard Made · Statement Storage shelf worthy of displaying it!
