We did it!!!! Our little region just won the big one!! We’ve just been awarded AUSTRALIA’s best tourist town! 🏆

We’re so proud to be part of a region that punches big and delivers world class guest experiences and memories.

In the last 12 months alone just our park has clocked up over 18,800+ guest nights here and no doubt this number will just keep growing.
(Not bad from 0 tourists only 2.5 years ago!)

Add to that the incredible and special variety of experiences, B&Bs and uniquely w**e country memories across our region.

That’s a lot of new visitors to our region, and we’re very proud to be part of bringing a whole heap of new people into local businesses and experiences to enjoy the stunning Stanthorpe and Granite Belt region!

🏆 STANTHORPE IS AUSTRALIA’S TOP TOURISM TOWN!

What an incredible result for Stanthorpe, the Granite Belt and our entire Southern Downs region.

Stanthorpe has today been named Australia’s Top Tourism Town for 2026 — taking out the national title after already being crowned Queensland’s best earlier this year.

This belongs to the tourism operators, accommodation providers, w**eries, growers, cafes, restaurants, retailers, event organisers and locals who make visitors feel welcome every single day.

We know how special this part of the world is. Now Australia knows it too.

And importantly, tourism means jobs, investment and money being spent in our local businesses. This is an opportunity we need to grab with both hands.

Congratulations Stanthorpe. Absolutely deserved. 🍎🍷🏆

A little note from Amanda and Blake:

A little research 🇫🇷🍷🧀

The last few days we’ve been in Paris learning all about automated accommodation, clever vending and product pairing, and picking up plenty of ideas to bring back to the park.

Yesterday we also ticked off a goal we’ve had since moving to Qld w**e country - we learnt how to properly pair w**e and cheese with a French sommelier.

Lots of tasting, lots of learning, and LOTS of ideas coming home with us for the park!!

Well… this is unusual.

We are officially taking a holiday. Together. For more than two days. 😂

In fact, this will be our first break longer than 2 days in 8.5 years, so we’re not entirely sure we remember how holidays work.

I mean, we are good at making them for others!? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Naturally, we couldn’t just go to Europe and relax like normal people either… so we’ll also be checking out how accommodation, holiday parks and tourism operators do things over there. Because apparently even our holidays need a little automation research. 😂

While we’re off gallivanting around Europe, (and celebrating Amanda’s 40th a little early 👵🏼…) our amazing team will be holding the fort and looking after everyone.

They’re absolute legends, they know the park, they care about our guests, and they’ll do everything they can to keep things running smoothly while we’re away.

That said… the two people who normally obsessively answer everything at all hours of the day will be on the other side of the world, so replies might take a couple of hours longer, there may be the odd little kink or drama we couldn’t plan for, and things may not happen quite as instantly as usual.

So please be patient, be kind to our team, and know they’ll look after you beautifully. ❤️

We fully expect to come home with 73 new ideas, a list of things Blake wishes I hadn’t seen, and at least one completely unnecessary new park project.

Our Meadow Sites now have a beautiful big open green meadow to look out over after the burn.

And we think Wallace and Wyatt are going to be VERY impressed with all that fresh new grass to munch on soon! 🐄

Want the quietest spot in the park?
(except for the occasional moo)

Our Meadow Sites are tucked away in one of the most protected areas from the highway.
They’re not pet friendly, because very soon you will be waking up with Wallace and Wyatt wandering right up near your doorstep.
