Growing up in a small hill town, Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands, means limited exposure to the modern city life. Buying something from the bakery seemed expensive for a middle class family of 5. Thus, my mother learned and made bread, cakes, scones and cupcakes all by herself for us. Watching my mother create in her kitchen sparked my passion for baking. From being my mothers little kitchen helper,

i picked up the skills and started baking independently since i was 13 years old. I am now a working Nurse in an Adelaide Hospital. Though the Nurses life is busy and full on, that did not stop my love for baking. I attended classes to increase my skills on decorating cakes, watched YouTube tutorials as well as listening to my mother and with the endless support from my family and friends, Sugar Whip was born. Coming into my 2nd year with Sugar Whip, i have no regrets sharing my passion with all of you out there.

A little moment for the flowers 🤍

This design was all about soft texture and delicate piping, each bloom placed by hand to create that cascading, romantic feel. Easily my favourite part of this cake. There's just something so timeless about piped florals.

Finished in a soft blue palette and filled with rich chocolate layers — simple, classic, and always a crowd favourite
